Responsibilities
Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, washrooms, elevators, stairways, meeting rooms, laundry rooms, pool areas, offices, and other workspaces.
Restock and maintain lobby washrooms and amenity rooms daily.
Respond to guest and housekeeping requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Vacuum rugs, furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners or steamers.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and recyclables to disposal areas.
Dust and polish furniture in main areas.
Polish silver accessories and metalwork, including fixtures and fittings.
Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as necessary.
Maintain parking lots by sweeping, raking leaves, removing garbage, and emptying ashtrays.
Remove garbage, recyclables, and empty beverage containers from the laundry room.
Identify and report preventative and other maintenance issues in public areas.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
Carry out lost-and-found procedures.
Assist other departments wherever necessary and perform other duties as required.
