Requirements
  • A full Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor credential or a bachelor's degree is required.
  • A Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee credential with a bachelor's degree is required.
  • Two years of case management work experience in a social service agency is required, preferably serving mental health or substance-using populations.
Responsibilities
  • Provide case management services to a caseload.
  • Manage and develop systems in the facility.
  • Complete all paperwork for charting as required by the funding source.
  • Conduct groups periodically or as directed by management.
  • Provide housing assistance to clients.
  • Complete housing assessments and referrals.
  • Complete HRA 2010-E forms.
  • Attend management trainings, team meetings, and staff meetings.
  • Provide assistance to clients within the facility when needed.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of substance use, mental illness, treatment options, and the needs of an individual integrating back into the community.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and computational skills to present and document records in accordance with program standards.
