What believers are saying

  • December 2025 trade reporting says BBG reverted to Chal-Tec and refocused on Klarstein.
  • Presseportal reported €250 million for acquisitions over 18 months in September 2026.
  • BBG's 2026 sites still market Klarstein globally and refresh product lines.

What critics are saying

  • January 2024 layoffs cut about 100 jobs, signaling post-boom contraction.
  • Klarstein reportedly drives about 90 percent of revenue, creating single-brand concentration risk.
  • If HPS stops funding roll-ups, BBG loses the acquisition engine that built it.

What makes Berlin Brands Group unique

  • Klarstein, auna, and blumfeldt give BBG owned-brand reach across Europe.
  • BBG still runs 70-plus webshops in 28 countries, not only Amazon.
  • HPS backed BBG's 2024 control transition, keeping acquisition firepower available.
