An undergraduate degree, or comparable credential, in Accounting or Finance.
One to three years of accounting or finance experience.
Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Online.
Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong working knowledge of financial statements.
Ability to review open work and produce timely and accurate records.
Ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from a manager to accomplish objectives.

Must pass a fingerprint criminal background check, a child abuse and neglect check, and a drug screen.
Must provide an original document showing education and certifications, current original documents verifying identity and legal authorization to work in the United States, and two verifiable employment references within the last three years, if applicable.
Responsibilities
Review financial statements, supporting schedules, and work papers.
Reconcile sub-ledger balances to general ledger account balances.
Prepare financial statements.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
Enter vendor invoices and other necessary entries into QuickBooks Online.
Coordinate with audit professionals on year-end audit reporting.
Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and continually improve existing procedures.
Prepare and submit monthly billings for services provided.
Pay • This is a salaried role • $65,000- $80,000 based on experience

About the Position The General Accountant works closely with the Accounting Manager and is reportable to the Chief Operating Officer and is an important member of Rimland's Finance team. You will be responsible for providing accounting services including review of financial statements and supporting schedules and work papers.
