Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.
  • Negotiation skills that include the ability to explain company positions and policies effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in order to complete projects accurately, on schedule, and with minimal supervision.
  • Highly responsive, sense of urgency, and ability to work well under pressure while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to collaboratively work cross functionally with internal teams including Procurement, Privacy, AI, and Security.
  • Strong attention to detail, superior organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills to achieve impactful results with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues.
  • Excellent judgment, confident and comfortable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter who can immediately contribute in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Procurement experience is a must.
Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding client service to internal stakeholders, including Procurement and internal business clients, pursuant to Genesys policies.
  • Independently, or with minimal guidance, review, redline, draft and negotiate a variety of vendor agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Negotiate, review and draft a variety of technology related agreements, including but not limited to software license, cloud subscription, evaluation and other license agreements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-pace and complex environment with a high degree of collaboration, including working directly with the Procurement organization and other non-legal personnel on contracts and other matters.
  • Develop responses and propose alternative terms or language as needed.
  • Manage contract approvals and triage CLM requests.
  • Ensure compliance with Genesys policies, playbooks, guidelines.
  • Special projects and other duties as requested.
