What believers are saying

  • Q2 2026 revenue grew 40%, and management reaffirmed $30 million-$35 million guidance.
  • SES expects Korea capacity to reach 1 million drone cells annually by Q4 2026.
  • ATG EPower distribution and UZ Energy ESS demand now drive revenue growth.

What critics are saying

  • A March 4, 2026 securities class action alleges inflated prospects and fake revenue.
  • Q2 revenue still depends on a tiny customer base; any slippage misses guidance fast.
  • If drone orders stall, SES burns cash without scale, risking dilution or bankruptcy.

What makes SES AI unique

  • SES AI’s Chungju, South Korea line produces NDAA-compliant drone cells for defense customers.
  • Molecular Universe 3.0 sells AI-driven materials discovery alongside batteries and subscriptions.
  • 2026 pivot to ESS and drones leverages existing lithium-metal manufacturing know-how.
