Requirements
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, with an understanding of its architecture, various applications and development environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or Typescript.
  • Strong background in data integration, transformation, and API development.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) as they relate to deploying and scaling Palantir solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure robust software delivery.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end testing).
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
  • A demonstrated passion for diving into unknown problem spaces, with proven experience in debugging beta-stage applications to uncover and resolve critical issues.
  • Strong collaboration skills, capable of effectively communicating technical concepts across multiple teams.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest advancements in the Palantir Foundry platform, as well as a commitment to mentoring and teaching others.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances and to work in a classified environment when necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Develop custom solutions and integrations within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem to address unique challenges in defense logistics.
  • Leverage Palantir Foundry applications, plugins, and data processing pipelines to enhance the capabilities of our Palantir stack.
  • Build and maintain secure APIs and data services that bridge Palantir Foundry with other core systems.
  • Leverage Foundry AI to support the AI/ML team to deliver unique and accurate data insights
  • Develop secure APIs and data services that bridge Palantir Foundry with other core systems and tools.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Pipeline Builder to ingest, transform, and integrate structured, unstructured, real-time, and batch data.
  • Ensure high performance, data integrity, and scalability of all data workflows within the Foundry environment.
  • Uphold data quality, security, and compliance in handling sensitive defense logistics data.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of Palantir-driven services through proactive logging, alerting, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and support automated deployment pipelines for iterative improvements to Palantir solutions.
  • Collaborate with backend, AI/ML, and product teams to seamlessly integrate Palantir solutions into broader system architectures.
  • Participate in code reviews, establish coding standards, and document solutions to facilitate shared learning.
  • Support the onboarding and professional growth of team members in Palantir-based development.
