  • Ability to access and navigate facilities across the multiple-school-site network.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor individual and groups of students, classroom activities, and playground activities to provide a safe environment.
  • Assist teachers and parents in implementing lesson plans and general teaching requirements, including setting up schedules and meetings, in large- and small-group activities.
  • Perform record keeping, including recording test results and basic clerical functions such as copying tests and handouts.
  • Support the teacher in maintaining student files and providing classroom materials.
  • Maintain classroom equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and appropriate learning environment.
  • Consult with the teacher daily about current and future problems and alert the teacher to problems or special information about students.
  • Assist the teacher in supervising students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
  • Administer tests to assist the teacher.
  • Participate in meetings to receive or provide information.
  • Contact parents when requested by the teacher or administrator.
