Senior SAP S/4HANA Product Costing & Transfer Pricing Consultant
About the job
- Six to eight years of experience in SAP Finance or Controlling, with strong expertise in Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Transfer Pricing processes.
- Proven experience in AMS or Production Support environments operating within SLA-driven delivery models.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CO-PC, Material Ledger, and Actual Costing in SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing models, intercompany processes, inventory valuation, and cost flow management.
- Experience with standard, actual, and market-based transfer pricing methodologies, including profit center and group valuation scenarios.
- Deep knowledge of FI/CO integration, MM valuation, and manufacturing cost structures.
- Understanding of tax-relevant processes, including intercompany billing, stock transfers, and cross-border transactions.
- Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), mandatory Material Ledger, and multiple valuation approaches.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA user experience.
- Ability to analyze complex costing and valuation scenarios and translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Experience with data migration, incident management, testing, and documentation activities.
- Fluent English.
- Enhance and improve the SAP template in the FI and CO areas.
- Support the setup of processes for GPO Finance and Controlling.
- Prepare and conduct workshops or similar sessions to present and train users on system functionalities.
- Analyze deviations, prepare decisions for the business process owner, and design solutions.
- Prepare and support test execution.
- Prepare and support migration activities.
- Prepare and support cutover activities and activities after go-live, including the hypercare period.
- Act as an expert on technical design and setup of costing, Material Ledger, transfer pricing, and tax enhancements.
- Lead the technical definition and implementation of account determination logic based on national and international accounting standards.
- Analyze and write development requests, and specify and formulate testable business requirements.
- Contribute to content, review content, and, if needed, write user requirements specifications or functional specifications.
- Manage incidents, problems, and change requests related to Finance within defined SLA timelines.
- Support end-to-end Controlling processes, including touchpoints between SAP Finance, Sales and Distribution, and Materials Management/Purchasing.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring Finance-related issues and implement permanent corrective actions to improve system stability.
- Experience in multinational manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of Group Reporting, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), or Advanced Intercompany Processes.
- Exposure to Event-Based Production Costing (EBPC).
- SAP S/4HANA Finance or Controlling certification.
