About the job
- Computer knowledge, particularly of Microsoft Office.
- Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential; customer-facing experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or another setting is relevant.
- A degree or equivalent is required.
- Applicants must hold appropriate right to work; sponsorship is not available.
- Applicants should be comfortable working with technical products and communicating with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates must travel as required within the Service Branch area.
- Proactively identify and engage customers to secure maintenance contracts, renewals, and minor repair opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and manage renewal conversations as contracts or warranties approach expiry.
- Carry out site surveys and technical assessments, producing accurate quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
- Maintain organised records of all activity and provide regular updates to the Branch Manager.
- Work safely across the Service Branch area, travelling as required and promoting the company brand professionally.
- Help customers with service enquiries, prepare quotations, identify sales opportunities, and support the delivery of reactive and planned works.
- Postgraduate business qualifications.
- Experience or understanding of tenders, council contracts, or public sector customers.
