Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Senior Production Equipment Technician to join our team! We are looking for someone to maintain all production equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability. We need someone to perform various corrective and preventative maintenance activities on all production devices, network devices, tools, and equipment, including equipment specific to archival storage and retrieval of computer-generated data (File-based servers) where applicable.
Responsibilities:
- This position will be required to work Late Week Nightshift (Wed, Thurs, Fri Alt Sat 6p-6A)
- Use proven proficiency in operating software with the ability to create/change Modes, upgrade and modify equipment to meet the needs of Production Operations.
- Move, relocate, and perform setup of production equipment.
- Respond to support calls in a prompt manner to ensure timely resolution.
- Effectively track parts usage and provide input to management and the Inventory Analyst with regard to suggested inventory levels.
- Appropriately logs all support calls into the technician tracking system (e.g., FIIX) to ensure all work time and parts are appropriately accounted for.
- Delegates basic repair and maintenance tasks as the need arises to more junior technicians and follows up to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Provide input to leadership regarding performance appraisals of junior technicians.
- Fabricate simple fixtures as the need arises with a high level of focus on identifying ways to reduce parts costs while maintaining or improving the functionality/safety of production equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware related to production equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as well as troubleshoot facilities-related equipment where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance records in accordance with OSHA and EPA requirements. This may include maintaining an equipment maintenance database.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and or technical/vocational education. Must have vendor/equipment repair certification for at least three of Broadridge’s insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.).
- 5 years’ experience within a high-volume production environment with resultant knowledge of equipment repair. Proven proficiency in the operation, repair, maintenance, and software of high-speed production equipment is required, including advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills necessary. Ability to take direction and to work effectively under time constraints is necessary.
- Ability to lead small groups, cross-train new technicians and communicate with all levels of leadership across multiple areas of our operation.
- Ability to work while standing and have the ability to lift, carry and move 25+lbs. throughout the duration of assigned shift.
Skills:
- Proficient with all hand tools and basic mechanical repairs
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits both AC and DC
- Functional/technical skills to include basic Windows PC hardware and software
- Attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and to work under pressure due to time constraints as necessary
Requirements:
- Ability to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shift
- Ability to lift, carry and move 25+ lbs throughout duration of assigned shift

Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual Compensation (paid hourly): 53,000 - $70 ,000 USD
- Annual Bonus: $1,250 bonus recurring every year.
