Requirements
- Possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology, or equivalent.
- Have experience with Agile/Scrum processes, language, and ceremonies.
- Have experience using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Have experience using relational databases, such as Oracle.
- Have solid knowledge and experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
- Have a solid understanding of API, microservice, and integration concepts and technologies, such as REST, JSON, XML, and message queues.
- Have experience leading development teams.
- Have analytical, technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Be able to solve problems creatively.
- Be able to communicate ideas clearly and respond in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team of developers, align technical direction, and provide leadership, support, and motivation.
- Work with Product Owners to develop provided user stories.
- Work with Solution Architects to design technical solutions for specific business requirements within the framework defined by Enterprise Architecture.
- Liaise with team members, Delivery Leads, and Product Owners to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Oversee deployments and new releases and ensure they are aligned with the product roadmap.
- Advise Delivery Leads, Product Owners, and the team regarding technical implementation of the project.
- Work with the App Support team to address system issues.
- Document system design and program specifications in technical design documents.
- Review code and ensure best practices and coding standards are implemented in the project.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks that impede Sprint progress.
- Solve issues and develop workarounds and alternative solutions.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and developments.
Desired Qualifications
- Be knowledgeable in AWS, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, or another public cloud platform.
- Have experience in Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservice Architecture.
- Have experience deploying apps to the App Store and Play Store.
- Have experience using modern JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS.
- Have a background in backend, web, and mobile application development.
