Requirements
- A bachelor's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in project planning, New Product Introduction project work, and industrial engineering work.
- Experience in product planning, project management, and ERP/SAP.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill requirements for timely introduction of new products as defined in the product Advanced Product Quality Plan.
- Coordinate the project team for customer demand analysis, cycle time planning, Lean Line design, and production cost control.
- Serve as the production team's contact window to review project progress and quality status with the design group.
- Create and update process flow charts, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans according to product specifications and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the process and test teams on tooling, spare parts, and program setup and release for new products.
- Arrange and follow up on sample builds to fulfill process qualification and release requirements and customer requirements.
- Implement and improve BPS, including value stream planning and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), standardized work and cycle time planning, cycle time reduction projects, production line capacity planning against demand, internal logistics, supermarket definition and maintenance for raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods, Kanban systems for raw materials and finished goods, Quick Change Over (QCO) improvement, and training the manufacturing team on BPS procedures.
- Coordinate internal department activities to achieve desired outcomes, including engineering changes, process improvements, and specification clarification with the design group.
- Assist with external customer and compliance audits and internal quality system audits.
- Monitor and improve new product failure rate, defect cost, and production line delivery performance.
- Coordinate Ratio (Cost Improvement) Project tasks.
- Coordinate activities needed to promptly resolve customer and internal quality concerns and document actions.
- Establish production concepts and determine equipment investment and labor requirements for quotation (EVOB) purposes.
- Support sample GEZ/WIP reduction and improvement.
