Electroplating Technician - Aerospace, Hard Chrome / Cadmium

- Perform full-cycle electroplating operations, including preparation, masking, fixturing, plating, and teardown.
- Execute Hard Chrome, Thin Dense Chrome, Cadmium, Copper, and Electroless Nickel plating processes.
- Support nondestructive testing and process interfaces, including Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant testing.
- Prepare parts through cleaning, surface preparation, and Aluminum-Oxide Blasting.
- Design and build anodes, racks, fixtures, and tooling for complex geometries.
- Conduct inner-diameter and outer-diameter plating.
- Set up and operate plating tanks, rectifiers, and process equipment.
- Monitor and control plating parameters, including temperature, current density, time, and chemistry.
- Perform masking and demasking using plugs, tapes, lacquers, and complex selective-plating boundaries.
- Perform stress-relief and hydrogen-embrittlement relief baking.
- Perform assembly, fixturing, and post-process teardown.
- Complete travelers, work orders, and process documentation accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas according to 5S and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet aerospace requirements.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with NADCAP, Federal Aviation Administration, or AS9100 standards.
