About the job
- At least 5 years of hands-on project management experience, ideally including some people leadership or mentoring.
- Experience in integrated communication campaigns, ideally leading large above-the-line and production-heavy campaigns at an integrated advertising agency.
- Business-level spoken and written English sufficient to lead negotiations and client presentations.
- A solid grasp of project management methodologies and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple moving parts.
- Comfort with numbers, profit-and-loss thinking, and forecasting.
- Strong stakeholder management instincts and relationship-building skills.
- A decisive, solutions-first mindset and willingness to make decisions and stand behind them.
- A proactive approach, including anticipating issues and prioritizing competing demands.
- An interest in personal growth and acting on feedback.
- Independently manage projects, client relationships, freelancers, and vendor partners to deliver on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Define and document each project's scope, timeline, staffing, and delivery process, including roadmaps, scopes of work, quotes, presentations, and meeting notes.
- Monitor project status, risks, dependencies, and efficiency, and escalate issues early.
- Own client relationships at marketing director or chief marketing officer level; shape annual plans, run quarterly business reviews, and negotiate scope, retainers, and change requests.
- Work with Portfolio Directors, Growth Partners, and Capabilities team experts to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and support proposals and tender materials.
- Support quarterly forecasts and revenue planning for accounts, and ensure billing preparation, timesheets, and project administration are accurate and timely.
- Lead, coach, and develop junior, mid-level, and senior Project Managers; share knowledge, unblock team members, and support their development.
- Experience with artificial intelligence implementation projects focused on creative delivery, performance marketing, or customer relationship management initiatives.
- Experience with retail or fast-moving consumer goods clients and promotional work.
- A working understanding of client business landscapes and the ability to learn new industries quickly.
- Experience leading retrospectives or lasting process-improvement initiatives.
