Estate and Move Team Manager
About the job
- Management and auction or online-selling experience are sought.
- Must be in good physical condition to perform repetitive lifting and bending and work in dusty or dirty environments.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a cell phone, reliable transportation, and access to GPS or Google Maps.
- Must be available on weekdays and weekend days as needed.
- Lead the coordination, sorting, and staging of items for estate sales, online auctions, and relocation services.
- Work with clients to sort and organize belongings, helping them decide what to keep, sell, donate, or discard.
- Help clients plan which belongings will fit in their new space.
- Carefully wrap and box items for moving.
- Oversee movers and ensure items are moved as planned; unpack belongings when resettling clients and remain until the job is complete.
- Create online estate-sale lots, photograph items, write descriptions using a laptop, and tag lots for pickup.
- Prepare auction lots for customer pickup; package leftover items for donation, discard trash, and sweep floors and vacuum carpets after pickup.
- Clean out homes, including light hoarding situations.
