Requirements
A Home Health Aide or Continuing Care Aide Certificate is required.
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with the Home Care Team.
Must be self-directed and demonstrate organizational skills.
Basic computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email, internet use, data entry, and electronic charting systems.
Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
Apply knowledge-based Home Health Aide practice while working independently and in collaboration with clients and other health care professionals to promote clients’ independent living.
Provide home management, personal care, and respite assistance to clients.
Use skills and interventions to meet clients’ physical, social and cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Desired Qualifications
Previous Home Care or Acute Care experience is an asset.
Ability to speak or understand Cree is an asset.
First Aid/CPR training certifications are an asset, or willingness to learn.

About the position: The successful candidate will assist and provide services in the Home and Community Care Program for LLRIB community members. You will be working in the homes of our clients providing necessary home management, personal care & respite assistance.
Duties:

Qualifications:
