Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in CAR, liability, and property claims; large and complex claims management experience is preferred.
Experience handling CAR, liability, and property claims is required, with customer service skills.
Technical knowledge of products and services, including liability and property insurance products.
Understanding of local legislation, legal liability, industry standards and protocols, and claims agreements.
Ability to interpret policies and knowledge and application of the litigation process.
Solid experience across the major aspects of the claims adjustment process.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
A recognized industry standard qualification, such as Senior Associate of ANZIIF.
A bachelor's degree or above, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage medium-standard claims of moderate severity or complexity and complex claims with moderate supervision.
Handle complex liability and property claims.
Provide technical support to the team, including work simplification and automation initiatives.
Provide data analytics for Commercial portfolios.
Organize customer meeting presentations and prepare PowerPoint slides.
Assist the Claims Manager with managerial tasks when necessary and handle other ad hoc tasks.
Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the claim lifecycle and make decisions using the appropriate standards.
Comply with customer protocols and service charters.

Desired Qualifications

Data analytical skills are preferred.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Claims Officer position.

Job Summary

Job Accountabilities

Adhere to local regulatory and governance requirements throughout the life of the claim to ensure that we make decisions using the right standards.

Job Qualifications

4 years or above experience in CAR, Liability and Property claims, preferably with large and complex claims management skill
Preferably Bachelor degree or above or equivalent working experience
Achieved recognised industry standard (e.g. Snr Asso. of ANZIIF)
Experience in CAR, Liability and Property claims handling
Experience in CAR, Liability and Property claims with good customer service skill is a must
Technical knowledge of products and services
Technical claims handling knowledge of Liability and Property Insurance products
Understand local legislation and legal liability
Understand industry standards and protocol
Knowledge of claims agreements
Interpretation of policy over Knowledge and application of the litigation process
Solid experience with all major aspects of the claims adjustment process.
Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese (including Mandarin)
Data analytical skill is preferred
