About the company

Squad Health provides an AI-powered platform that automates administrative tasks around specialty prescriptions for clinics and care teams. Its core product, Squad Assist, integrates with EMR systems and insurance portals to automate workflows like prior authorizations, appeals, benefits verification, and patient-assistance enrollment, coordinating with pharmacies. It acts as a non-dispensing pharmacy, handling the full prescription workflow from submission to delivering to the chosen pharmacy based on patient preference, cost, and network status. It differentiates itself by offering the service free to providers and combining EMR integration, insurance automation, and access programs across multiple specialties, with a goal to reduce admin burdens and speed medication access for patients.
