Requirements
  • A two-year certificate from an accredited institution in an approved multidisciplinary industrial maintenance area, such as automated manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or electronics/electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to function as a technician.
  • Qualification, or ability to become qualified, as a first responder.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate maintenance emergencies or changes in the manufacturing schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Understand and follow maintenance procedures for production equipment and the plant, including standard procedures.
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities.
  • Perform general repairs and support production associates.
  • Safely move and set up equipment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Help maintain spare parts inventory.
  • Remain on call to support plant facilities or processes during emergency situations.
  • Assist production in developing safe work practices.
  • Complete assigned work orders.
  • Establish, coordinate, and document on-time preventive and routine maintenance activities.
  • Understand and execute emergency procedures according to the Emergency Procedures Manual.
  • Understand, practice, and enforce company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Communicate issues effectively among all shifts and departments.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
