Requirements
  • A PhD in a related field.
  • Knowledge and skills developed through fewer than 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in research projects investigating the neurobiology of visual decision making in non-human primates.
  • Perform experiments and collect and analyze data.
  • Participate in the promotion of a research project.
  • Participate in preparing and writing grant applications and reports, and co-author or author scientific research manuscripts.
  • Provide peer review of grant applications and scientific manuscripts.
  • Collaborate on developing new research projects with academic and community-based organizations.
  • Present work at scientific meetings when needed.
  • Perform other related work as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • A PhD in neuroscience.
  • Independent research and data analysis experience.
  • Bench experience with cell-based assays and flow cytometry.
  • Tumor tissue sample analysis experience.
  • Experience with in vivo mouse models of cancer.
  • At least one peer-reviewed publication in a related field.
  • In vivo electrophysiological expertise.
  • In vivo behavioral task design and training in animal models.
