Requirements
  • Deep domain knowledge of the oil and gas industry, including process lifecycle engineering for upstream and downstream operations, major original equipment manufacturers, engineering services and suppliers, external drivers, and funding mechanisms.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior and mid-level technical leads, business leaders, and operations managers.
  • Strong technical and commercial experience in account offerings, sales strategies, proposal development, negotiating, pricing, costing, discount structures, terms and conditions, contract management, services execution, interface management, and quality delivery.
  • Understanding of relevant and adjacent technologies and competitors’ services.
  • Experience working with global remote teams and offshore delivery models.
  • Experience with sales and account management and developing strategic plans.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strategic orientation, analytical ability, decisiveness, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple demands simultaneously, take ownership, and deliver results in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Overall work experience of 14–17 years in relevant oil and gas, project management, and/or mechanical integrity domains.
  • Experience in the sales process, including handling and presenting proposals.
  • Formal training or experience in program management, negotiations, and strategic selling.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Own the account’s revenue and profit targets in the Energy industry.
  • Participate in developing and implementing the overall account-level strategic plan.
  • Develop and implement in-depth strategic account analysis and planning to identify growth focus areas, account headcount, competitive positioning, customer needs, capability gaps, and investment priorities.
  • Make business decisions about which services and solutions to pursue and invest in.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance the company’s value proposition and differentiators for current and future clients.
  • Leverage and expand relationships with engineering influencers and decision-makers at executive and mid-management levels.
  • Hold quarterly customer reviews and lead or author account-branding newsletters and other customer communications.
  • Lead sales-cycle activities from opportunity qualification through deliverable definition, performance targets, customer and delivery-team coordination, and quality assurance.
  • Support large business deal campaigns from need identification and customer contact through proposal development, implementation, and handover to the delivery team.
  • Identify and lead unsolicited strategic campaigns to grow the account, including customer engagement, milestone monitoring, action-item tracking, and proposal leadership.
  • Lead and manage solicited proposal responses for new business services or customers.
  • Develop plans and proposals to achieve the account’s quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement plans to enter new geographies or account divisions.
  • Develop and operationalize cross-selling and upselling plans using best practices from other accounts.
  • Establish rates outside the Master Service Contract using value pricing, data analysis, customer engagement, pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and competitor assessment.
  • Develop and support account-based marketing initiatives with the marketing team.
  • Work with delivery teams to host customers, partners, and clients at company facilities.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, conferences, industry associations, and other networking activities, including presenting capabilities and white papers and leading industry initiatives.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Hillhouse invests in Quest Global to accelerate engineering growth

Quest Global, a global outsourced engineering services provider, has secured a minority investment from Hillhouse Investment through a combination of primary capital infusion and share purchases from existing stakeholders. The transaction involves funds managed by Hillhouse Investment Management. The Singapore-based company, which employs over 21,500 people across 93 global delivery centres in 18 countries, will use the capital to advance strategic priorities and enhance its engineering capabilities for major original equipment manufacturers worldwide. Quest Global specialises in aerospace, automotive, energy and semiconductor sectors. CEO Ajit Prabhu said the investment validates the company's differentiated value proposition and growth strategy. Hillhouse is acquiring a 5% stake in Quest Global at a $4.5 billion valuation, outbidding Temasek in a pre-IPO round. The deal represents a significant jump from Quest Global's previous $1.8 billion valuation when Carlyle Group acquired a stake in 2023. Temasek had also been planning to purchase approximately 5% of the engineering services company. AROBS acquires Quest Global Romania in all-stock deal with one-year lock-up

Romanian tech group AROBS is acquiring Quest Global Romania from Craiova in an all-stock transaction, marking the company's first acquisition paid entirely through share issuance. The newly issued shares will be subject to a one-year lock-up period. Quest Global Romania, headquartered in Craiova, employs approximately 110 specialists and provides software development, testing, embedded solutions and IT consulting services across sectors including semiconductors, healthcare and automotive. The company is part of Singapore-based Quest Global, which operates in 18 countries with over 22,000 employees. The acquisition strengthens AROBS's engineering capabilities and international presence. Quest Global Romania's management will continue under Ana-Maria Vasilescu's leadership. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of the year.
