Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Current or willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training.
  • Strong facilitation and group management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with community stakeholders and families.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, community-based environments.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout Colorado.
  • Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends based on program needs.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check acceptable to Girl Scouts of Colorado standards.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
  • Travel frequently throughout Colorado for program delivery.
  • Facilitate high-quality mobile programs for girls in grades K–12 in varied community settings.
  • Adapt programming to the needs of diverse communities and learning environments.
  • Prepare, organize, transport, and maintain program supplies, curriculum materials, and mobile equipment.
  • Safely set up and break down mobile programming spaces and vehicles.
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate programming aligned with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with community partners and the Girl Scout community to coordinate program logistics and successful experiences.
  • Support family engagement and connect participants to ongoing Girl Scout opportunities.
  • Encourage continued participation and retention through relationship-building and follow-up communication.
  • Assist with membership conversion from community programming into troops, staff-led programs, or other participation pathways.
  • Support program-led recruitment efforts through engaging experiences introducing girls and families to Girl Scouts.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, participation, inventory, mileage, and program data records.
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, and logistical planning for mobile programming events.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, transportation protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Collect participant feedback, stories, and impact data for evaluation efforts.
  • Maintain vehicle organization, cleanliness, and supply management for mobile programming units.
  • Support organizational commitments to pluralism, diversity, and inclusiveness across communities served.
  • Occasionally assist with other tasks in addition to the listed duties.
