DevOps Engineer - Azure
About the job
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with Azure, including Azure CLI, Azure Portal, and Azure App Service
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Dynatrace for monitoring and alerting is a plus
- Ability to code and script in multiple languages (a polyglot mindset)
- Experience with system and IT operations; comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- Data management skills with an understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
- A strong focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Azure.
- Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
- Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage Azure cloud-based production systems, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
- Build, release, and configuration management of production systems.
- Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products/services.
- System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
- Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
