Comfort Keepers, an in-home senior care franchise, has signed 14 new territories and opened four locations in the first half of 2026, expanding across Texas, Florida, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, California, Canada, Nebraska, Mississippi, North Carolina and Indiana. The growth reflects rising demand for home care as families seek support for ageing relatives. Scott Oaks, vice president of franchise development, said most new franchisees are second-career professionals seeking purposeful businesses with growth potential. The company typically limits new franchisees to two neighbouring territories initially. Comfort Keepers expects to sign an additional 20 territories by year-end, focusing on Texas, Massachusetts, Indiana and California. The brand operates over 600 locations across the US and Canada, serving hundreds of thousands of clients since 1998.
Pontosense has expanded its partnership with Comfort Keepers, a leading home care provider, to power the launch of Comfort360 SafeGuard™, a technology-enabled safety and wellness solution. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in ambient AI adoption across the home care industry. Pontosense's radar-based sensing platform operates passively in the background, providing safety and wellness insights without cameras, microphones or wearables, preserving privacy whilst requiring no action from users. The technology enables continuous wellness monitoring and earlier risk identification for seniors ageing at home. "Seeing an organisation the size of Comfort Keepers embrace ambient AI is strong validation that the future of home care will combine compassionate caregiving with continuous, intelligent insights," said Travis Peterson, Pontosense's chief commercial officer. Comfort Keepers operates over 600 locations across the US and Canada.
Comfort Keepers, a leading provider of in-home senior care across North America, has partnered with HomeSight to integrate the HomeSight Wellness Hub into its new Comfort360 connected care ecosystem. The partnership makes HomeSight available to Comfort Keepers franchises in the US and Canada. The HomeSight Wellness Hub transforms clients' televisions into easy-to-use hubs that extend caregiver support. Following an extensive pilot programme, Comfort Keepers confirmed the technology's ease of adoption and operational fit. The system provides virtual appointments, activity monitoring through intelligent sensors, actionable insights for caregivers, and tools to help identify potential risks earlier. HomeSight is a division of Vantiva, a global connectivity leader. The partnership addresses growing demand as over 62 million Americans are currently aged 65 and older.
Comfort Keepers, a provider of home care for seniors, has launched Comfort360, an ecosystem of connected services designed to expand care support and promote independence for older adults living at home. Available exclusively through Comfort Keepers, the platform combines professional caregiving with technological and non-technological tools. The initial offering includes three focus areas: Wellness Hub, which transforms televisions into engagement platforms through a partnership with HomeSight; SafeGuard, using discreet sensors from Pontosense to monitor movement patterns and fall risk; and Alert, providing emergency response support via VRI and Guardian Medical Monitoring. The nationwide launch is expected to reach many Comfort Keepers franchise locations by year-end, with plans to expand services over time. The company operates over 600 locations across the US and Canada.
Fusion has acquired the Comfort Keepers franchise in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa, marking its entry into the home care industry. Corey Watton, President and CEO, expressed excitement about the expansion. Calli Smith has been appointed as director of home care services. Fusion, based in Omaha, also includes Fusion Medical Staffing and Fusion Workforce Solutions. Additionally, Amivie has acquired FosterBridge Inc., an in-home care provider in Southeastern Ohio.
