- Inspect liquid egg for imperfections, pick shell fragments out of cups, and pull the trigger handle of a cup when imperfections exist.
- Inspect eggs on a conveyor line for imperfections, discard shelled eggs with imperfections into an inedible bucket, and pull dirty eggs from the conveyor line to be rewashed.
- Monitor the production process.
- Empty egg buckets.
- Manually candle eggs.
- Complete hourly checklists.
- Maintain cleanliness in the processing area.
- Train and oversee Breaker Machine Operators and Candlers in various procedures.
- Follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations and procedures.
- Interact with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) inspector.
- Perform Machine Operator/Candler duties and responsibilities when necessary.
- Use assigned site-specific backup procedures when appointed to cover for absences or vacancies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Basic arithmetic skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
- Touch-screen computer skills.
