- Experience working with children ages 2–14 is required.
- Availability on weekday evenings between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and/or weekends between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. is required.
- A full, valid driver's license is required.
- The candidate must be physically fit and able to coach soccer skills and games with young children for more than two hours.
- The candidate must be available to work through the Summer and Winter seasons.
- Strong passion for working with and engaging young children is required.
- The candidate must be reliable and professional.
- The candidate must be able to interact effectively with children and deliver feedback to parents.
- The candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing, playful, fun, and imaginative when working with children.
- Coach soccer skills and games for young children.
- Transport soccer equipment between facilities using the company vehicle.
- Interact with children, parents, and co-workers during coaching activities.
- Experience working with a wider age range of children is preferred.
- Experience coaching both toddler and youth age groups is preferred.
- Experience with other young-child sports organizations, such as SportBall, City Camps, or Pedalheads, is preferred.
- Experience in soccer environments such as Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, or house leagues is preferred.
- Coaching certification such as Active Start, FUNdamentals, or Learn to Train is an asset.
