Position Overview
The QA Analyst should be a skilled owner of quality with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all partners on any given feature or release from conception to fruition. Not just a tester, this person will dig into specifications and requirements to create comprehensive test plans that provide full coverage for all positive, negative, and edge cases. The analyst may write or modify test plans, documents test methods and participate in testing. This person is driven to push the quality bar higher at all times through analysis of current test cases and methodology for accuracy and efficiency. This person is great at addressing the team, the Studio, and QA Leadership about any risks, concerns, status updates, or successes. Most importantly the ideal candidate is passionate about guaranteeing our users the best experience possible.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as a quality owner for respective features/releases.
- Develop testing plans and complete test cases for assigned features.
- Report and tracks software defects.
- Collaborate with team members (internally and externally) to meet testing needs and project requirements.
- Work effectively with studio teams, partner teams (Security, Payments, CS, etc.), and vendors.
- Communicate issues, risks, and test status in a timely and detailed manner.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Mobile, web, internet, and/or game testing experience.
- Attention to detail and excellent ability to communicate.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent shifts in areas of focus.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems and challenges.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience testing a product through the entire lifecycle, including post-ship maintenance.
- Experience using multiple industry-standard testing tools (Selenium, Appium, Charles, Wireshark, etc.)
- Knowledge of build systems and processes, including source control systems and Jenkins.
- Understanding of databases and proficiencies with SQL queries preferred.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $35,700 and $52,860 per year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
