Requirements
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electric controls
  • Experience with variable frequency drives and PLC controls preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical wiring schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Thorough understanding of single phase and three phase electrical systems
  • Knowledge of AC/DC component location and identification
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electric and circuit testing skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot control panels for single phase and three phase controls
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Service and repair knowledge of electrical equipment
  • Experience with electrical submersible equipment a plus
  • Able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
Responsibilities
  • Service & Troubleshoot Flygt submersible pumps and related electrical control panel/systems
  • Repair/rebuild/advise onsite customer as necessary
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and service various products
  • Diagnose and report any wear/damage to the customer
  • Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance on field service vehicle & equipment
  • Perform start-up duties and ensure any problems are resolved and addressed/reported
  • Train new service or other shop personnel and customers
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to assist customers after hours
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
