About the Program:

Wing is hosting a 12 week paid internship during the summer of 2024. It will be an in-person, hybrid internship based in Palo Alto, CA with start dates either in May or June. Eligible candidates must be a current student enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to the program after the completion of the summer internship. 

About the Opportunity:

Wing is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Commerce Partner Services team based in Palo Alto, CA! Our team builds APIs and tools businesses use to integrate with Wing drone delivery. We build reliable, safe, and performant systems focused on Wing’s ability to scale. The selected candidate will work closely with our team to design and develop new features for Wing’s partner-facing APIs and tools.

What You’ll Need: 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2024 and August 2025
• Interested in web frontend development or API design.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team
• Ability to identify challenging problems and potential solutions with guidance from a mentor, and work toward them with a high degree of independence.
• Experience/Comfort with C++
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn
