This is what you will be doing:
As a key member of a dynamic and dedicated team, you will:
Foster inclusive relationships across diverse teams and lived experiences.
Manage multiple portfolios and respond to evolving organizational needs.
Develop strategic work plans and proactively secure necessary resources.
Track progress and analyze portfolio outcomes with the Manager.
Participate in committees and lead equity-focused engagements.
Create impactful materials for meetings, trainings, and presentations.
Ensure cross-portfolio alignment and support leadership initiatives.
Lead presentations and training sessions to promote EIDA-R principles.
Requirements of the position will evolve as the successful candidate develops a project plan
This is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in relevant field
At least two to three years of job experience in a relevant role
A strong anti-oppression and equity lens and the demonstrated ability to apply it to an organizational setting, as well as an ability to navigate complex conversations about discrimination and inequities
Knowledge and Skills
Effective communication skills, including written, for items such as presentations, meeting minutes, and briefing notes
Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
Negotiation and problem-solving skills, including working to build consensus
Ability to effectively synthesize information into key take aways
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
A self-starter who also escalates matters to the Manager, when necessary
Fluency in Microsoft Office
Experience and/or knowledge in developing and executing program and project evaluation is an asset
