Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a relevant field with at least 4 years of experience with demonstrated understanding of program management, education, mathematics, financial literacy and/or planning, and organization of large conferences or training sessions
  • Masters degree preferred in a relevant field or related subject
  • At least 4 years of experience providing communication, education, and knowledge management expertise, preferably with a background in mathematics or financial literacy training
  • Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
  • Certificate to teach in the applicant's state of residency is preferred
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email and proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technology
  • Experience working with people of different socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels is preferred
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to propose possible resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems
  • Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a virtual/online presentation of three Federal Grants Commercially Off the Shelf courses to DOE contracting professionals
  • Set student participation limit at up to 25 students and notify participants of any per-course work at least five business days prior to the start of each course
  • Deliver course materials electronically for each course
  • Provide training on cost principles found at 2 CFR Part 200 for Federal grants and contracts
  • Ensure courses address DOE-specific requirements in 2 CFR Part 910 Subpart E where available without customizing the course
  • Coordinate and conduct two-day course sessions for each of the three course descriptions
  • Communicate milestones and delivery schedules and ensure work products are thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented
