About the company

Glot provides AI-driven real-time captioning and translation for live events, accessible directly on attendees’ smartphones. It supports 60+ languages and can deliver captions and translations without the need for specialized hardware or apps, using a simple QR code. The platform is scalable enough for 50–500 participants across multiple rooms and sessions, and is suitable for conferences, training, lectures, international meetings, and guided tours. It processes speech in real time with a privacy-by-design architecture and does not store data, ensuring GDPR compliance. Pricing is transparent with no hidden fees or per-language surcharges, aiming to be a turnkey solution that reduces costs compared with traditional interpreters and complex equipment. Glot’s goal is to make international events more inclusive and understandable by removing language barriers for multilingual audiences around the world.

What believers are saying

  • Glot’s August 2026 site claims 60-plus languages and browser-based attendee access.
  • The company says Vivatech, Sciences Po, and Institut Louis Bachelier already used Glot.
  • Transparent all-language pricing beats interpreter logistics, boosting adoption for recurring conferences.

What critics are saying

  • Wordly, KUDO, Interprefy, and Palabra crowd Glot’s 2026 event-translation market.
  • Expansion beyond 60 languages invites accuracy failures and support costs at multilingual scale.
  • If enterprise renewals stall, Glot becomes a niche feature, not standalone infrastructure.

What makes Glot unique

  • Glot’s June 2026 Series A raised $10.0 million, validating category traction.
  • QR-code, no-app, no-hardware deployment reduces event setup friction versus legacy interpretation systems.
  • Privacy-by-design, zero-storage processing fits GDPR-heavy conferences and confidential enterprise meetings.
