About the company

Colab provides a GovTech platform in Brazil that connects citizens with local governments to improve urban management. For residents, a free mobile app and social network lets people report issues, propose improvements, and rate services. For governments, a SaaS platform offers workflow management, CRM, and consultation tools to organize and respond to feedback. What believers are saying

  • Colab plans a 2026 US$10 million raise after launching Gov.AI.
  • March 10, 2026 Gov.AI demo access lowers sales friction for Brazilian municipalities.
  • Colab still reaches over one million users and 20 million people, sustaining network effects.

What critics are saying

  • Municipal procurement cycles dominate revenue; one budget freeze can crush renewals within 12 months.
  • The planned 2026 US$10 million round defines runway; failure stalls product hiring and expansion.
  • AWS and generic low-code vendors can clone workflow automation, commoditizing Colab before 2027.

What makes Colab unique

  • ColabGov.ai launched March 10, 2026, generating municipal workflows in seconds.
  • Colab integrates with gov.br credentials and WhatsApp, reducing citizen-service friction across Brazil.
  • UN-Habitat partnership and 100-plus city halls give Colab unusually sticky public-sector credibility.
