About the Company

Children’s Museum of Manhattan

Operates children's museum with interactive programs

CMOM offers interactive exhibitions, classes, workshops, performances, and festivals to help children and families explore themselves and the diverse world around them. It uses hands-on exhibits like PlayWorks for preschoolers and themed experiences (e.g., Gods, Myths and Mortals) along with Healthy Living programs, plus off-site partnerships and educator training to deliver learning experiences. The museum stands out through a broad, family-centered approach that reaches thousands across New York City via schools, healthcare partners, and a network of sites, integrating in-museum and community programs to meet multiple learning styles. Its goal is to foster foundational skills, curiosity, and healthy development in children while supporting parents and educators in a busy urban environment.
