Easy as pie: J.M. Smucker and Golden West partner on fruit Crumb Pies. September 25, 2026 By Allison Watkinson TLL Reporter A new line of Smucker's Crumb Pies is giving consumers some easy and delicious dessert options, in a partnership with licensee Golden West Food Group. The J.M. Smucker Co. and Golden West have jointly launched an all-new line of ready-to-bake fruit crumb pies that combine convenience with that unbeatable fresh-out-of-the-oven taste of a newly baked pie. The licensing partnership was brokered by Brand Central, a global top 10 licensing agency representing The J.M. Smucker Co. Partner Golden West, based in Vernon, California, is a top licensee in the food and beverage industry. The company produces a wide variety of high-quality food products, ranging from raw to fully cooked and from fresh to frozen. Known for its history of innovation in the industry, GWFG is a trusted licensee that partners with renowned brands and celebrities such as Jack Daniel's BBQ, Kellogg's, Disney, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Fieri, General Mills, and more. Launching in four classic flavors - Apple, Mixed Berry, Cherry, and Peach - the new Smucker's Crumb Pies combine real fruit fillings, golden crumb toppings, and classic crusts to create a warm, freshly baked dessert made for sharing. There's no thawing required, so pies go straight from the freezer to the oven, making it easy to bring a little more sweetness to family dinners, celebrations, holidays, and everyday moments. The new lineup includes: * Smucker's Apple Crumb Pie: Made with real apple slices and warm spices, topped with a golden, buttery crumb topping and paired with a flaky crust. * Smucker's Mixed Berry Crumb Pie: A flavorful combination of five real berries - blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and cranberries - that balances sweet and slightly tart berry flavor in every bite. * Smucker's Cherry Crumb Pie: Made with real sweetened cherries for bold, bright fruit flavor and a delicious balance of sweet and tart, finished with a buttery crumb topping and classic crust. * Smucker's Peach Crumb Pie: Made with real peaches for full, sweet peach flavor with a bright finish, topped with a golden crumb topping and classic crust. Each 30-ounce Smucker's Crumb Pie is made with real fruit filling, features a golden crumb topping**,** and classic crust, and provides seven generous servings. The pies contain no artificial dyes or high-fructose corn syrup. The partners say Smucker's Crumb Pies will begin rolling out at select retailers in October 2026, with additional retail distribution anticipated as the line expands, including Food Lion and Hannaford. Availability and assortment will vary by retailer and location. Brand Central says consumers can look forward to more sweet choices in the coming months, as a second line called Smucker's Hand Pies is expected to launch early next year, offering another convenient way for consumers to enjoy the familiar fruit flavors from The J.M. Smucker Co.
