In February 2026, Andromeda Robotics made their mark at the FTC South League Tournament, a major robotics competition held in Romania through the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) program, organized nationally by Nație prin Educație. The team's efforts were recognized with the prestigious Reach Award - 1st place, given to teams that go above and beyond to promote STEM/STEAM education and robotics to different communities. This award celebrates meaningful outreach, educational initiatives, and inspiring others to engage with science and technology. Andromeda's achievement was the result of a truly international and collaborative effort. The team brings together members and volunteers from 10 different countries, united by a shared spirit of Gracious Professionalism(R), the core FIRST value emphasizing respect, collaboration, and learning.
