  • Intern/Co-Op period May through December 2026
  • Junior or Senior level undergraduate students currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program at a college or university
  • Target degree programs include Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
  • Location: Eureka, Missouri is the job location
Responsibilities
  • Research current products, bill of materials, and develop understanding of how the product flows through production
  • Support engineering team in a continuous improvement environment with projects that may span multiple sites
  • Include data entry, BOM support, automation projects to streamline processes, periodic testing, and results summary with report out
  • Light design work to support New Products or research into new technology based on business need and skill set of the student
  • Project List item: Flex Die process optimization: Chrome/passivation, fixture design
  • Project List item: Tooling & Fixture Design assist: 3D modeling, DFM
  • Project List item: Support Continuous Improvement efforts: Improve workflow, submission quality, and dashboards
  • Project List item: Support in Automated Assembly & Measurements: Fixture Design, Analysis and Testing
  • Project List item: Support Kaizen events focusing on product flow/process improvements: Safety, Quality, Design, Delivery, Cost

  • establishing MS Sharepoint workflow a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • proficient in 2D design/drawings and 3D Modeling
  • ability to read component blueprints

Maxcess appoints Raymond Baran as Interim CEO. Maxcess, the global leader for automation in the web handling industry, announced that Odd Joergenrud will step down from his position as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Since joining Maxcess in 2019, Odd has led the company through several significant achievements, including merging Maxcess and RotoMetrics, enhancing the global leadership team, leading two impactful business acquisitions, and increasing the company's focus on new product development. On behalf of Maxcess, we thank Odd for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors. Effective immediately, Raymond Baran has been appointed Interim CEO. Ray brings a long history with the Berwind Group, which acquired Maxcess in 2018. In addition to working closely with the Maxcess leadership team since its acquisition by Berwind, Ray has held numerous roles across Berwind and its operating companies over the past 26 years. Ray will work closely with the Maxcess leadership team to ensure a seamless leadership transition and align the organization on a clear and defined future direction for the company.
