Requirements
  • Working towards a Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related fields
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a lab environment with standard hardware lab equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers)
  • Excellent organizational, communication and team skills
  • Experience in designing and prototyping Radiofrequency coils for MRI
  • Working knowledge of MRI physics and hardware systems is nice to have
Responsibilities
  • Support senior engineers in designing innovative RF transmit/receive coil sub-systems and peripheral circuits using EDA software packages (KiCad)
  • Prototype and test radiofrequency coils and circuits in the hardware lab and characterize the performance
  • Help prepare engineering documents and reports in support of new product development
  • Assist with various daily activities in the hardware lab
