Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) with specific training in assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability.
  • Prior training and experience administering, scoring, and interpreting neuropsychological tests.
  • Experience administering measures of intellectual functioning, development, autism spectrum disorder, including the ADOS-2, social communication, and emotional and behavioral functioning.
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification or licensure.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with families, schools, and autism spectrum disorder service providers.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screens.
  • Willingness to sign the company non-disclosure agreement and any subsequent revisions.
  • Maintain clean background and drug screenings and driving record.
  • English proficiency is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and/or psychoeducational evaluations of clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social difficulties.
  • Conduct in-person and/or virtual evaluations.
  • Provide written and oral feedback to clients or legal guardians regarding results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations.
  • Compile written reports detailing evaluation findings, diagnoses, and recommendations for the medical record and for sharing with patients, guardians, and referral sources in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Ensure timely documentation upload according to departmental policy.
  • Provide direct individual or group supervision and training in neuropsychological testing and assessment to diagnostic specialists, psychometrists, and technicians.
  • Participate in weekly regional clinical training meetings and present at weekly Psychology Assessment Didactic Seminars.
  • Remain current in the field and pursue continuing education related to pediatric psychological and neuropsychological testing.
  • Maintain an active license and good standing with the state board of psychology.
  • Comply with the company’s HIPAA privacy and security policies.
  • Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
  • Research literature related to specific learners’ programs.
  • Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by registered behavior technicians and caregivers.
  • Conduct preference, functional, and staff performance assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention.
  • Analyze and summarize assessment results and graph data as needed.
  • Write six-month progress reports to secure insurance funding.
  • Provide staff and caregiver training.
  • Facilitate team meetings for each learner every other week.
  • Create goals for skill generalization and update program sheets as skills meet criteria.
  • Create or update data collection systems.
  • Answer questions from technicians and caregivers and follow up to ensure generalization of objectives.
  • Complete and submit documentation to the billing agency in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the restricted hours of one to two apprentices.
  • Oversee up to three trainees seeking supervision toward supervised fieldwork experience, including weekly meetings, documentation review, and competency development.
  • Delegate case management tasks to competent trainees and provide feedback.
  • Supervise others seeking BCBA certification on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and autism spectrum disorder service providers in the child’s community.
  • Collaborate with team members, including attending routine departmental and general staff meetings.
  • Seek supervision when needed.
