Requirements
- Coordinate care with physicians, rehabilitation services, and other care providers.
- Educate clients about their diagnosis and treatment and ensure their understanding.
- Provide skilled nursing services including wound care, medication management, and management of chronic conditions.
- Be highly organized in providing and documenting care.
- Hold a current, unrestricted California Licensed Vocational Nurse license.
- Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Have one year of experience as a licensed vocational nurse.
- Provide proof of a negative tuberculosis result.
- Provide physical screening documentation from within the last year.
- Have a valid California driver's license and car insurance.
- Have a cell phone with internet access.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality skilled care to elderly clients and adults with disabilities.
- Provide and document skilled nursing care.
