Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google Apps.
  • Ability to provide customer service and establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents, and community members.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills for working with a diverse public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form using varied communication techniques and tools.
  • Ability to use office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
  • Ability to minimize errors through attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general clerical duties, including copying, faxing, typing, note taking, and scheduling meetings.
  • Receive and return phone calls from employees seeking information; answer and send emails, respond to inquiries, and deliver needed documents and information.
  • Provide customer service to visitors at the office or school.
  • Investigate specific questions, concerns, and issues to provide answers or resolutions.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
