Application Manager & IT Business Partner
About the job
- Successfully completed IT vocational training, studied computer science, or completed commercial vocational training with strong IT affinity.
- Have a sound understanding of business processes, ideally according to ITIL, as well as an understanding of software development, data exchange, and digitalization.
- Have experience in IT project management and enjoy working in an agile environment.
- Have very good German and English skills at least at C1 level.
- Demonstrate initiative, assertiveness, teamwork, and strong organizational skills.
- Advise business departments as a partner, capture their needs, and develop suitable IT concepts to optimize processes.
- Manage business-critical IT projects end to end, from conception and agile story splitting through successful ERP testing.
- Actively shape and optimize the application landscape and perform appropriate customization to support smooth IT business processes.
- Select external IT service providers independently, coordinate collaboration, and ensure high implementation quality.
- Support new applications with reliable second-level support in incident management and proactively identify new efficiency opportunities.
- ITIL-based process understanding.
