The Team:
The front office engineering team is responsible for developing the risk and pricing platform that our investment teams rely on to deliver outstanding returns to our clients. We’re looking for a highly motivated software engineer with a passion for technology and markets. You’ll help to design and build the front-end for the next generation of our risk and trading platform, collaborating with our engineers and investment teams across the firm.
The ideal candidate possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, a collaborative mentality, and an ability to bring innovative ideas to life. The role offers great exposure to the many and varied areas of the hedge fund.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Contribute to our state-of-the-art cross-asset risk & trading platform, empowering risk management and decision making across our global investment teams.
- Design and build a modern, intuitive user interface at the core of our investment process. Deliver innovative visualizations of complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
- Work closely with our investment teams to deliver intuitive solutions to their visualization & UI challenges.
- Collaborate with other highly skilled engineers across the technology team and the wider firm to leverage our front-end technology more broadly.
Our future colleague has these skills:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience building production level UIs using React or Angular
- Experience building production level software with C# is highly desirable
- JavaScript & UI design
- Basic experience with SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills and experience working with stakeholders
- 5+ years working experience, ideally in the financial industry (buy or sell side) but any other industry would be considered, based on your experience
Bonus skills:
- 8+ years working experience in the financial industry (buy or sell side)
- Deep knowledge of .NET Framework/Core
- Experience building enterprise solutions in Java or Python
- Experience working with at least one financial asset class

The applicable base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000 USD. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
