Globus Medical's SCRIPT spine implants could bolster its robotics story, with $3.7B revenue forecast by 2029

Globus Medical showcased SCRIPT, an FDA-cleared patient-specific spinal implant platform, at the 41st Annual North American Spine Society Meeting. It also previewed its XLIF Prone Procedural Solution, which pairs a new patient positioner with the MaXcess Air two-blade retractor. SCRIPT ties implant design to the company's ExcelsiusGPS and ExcelsiusHub surgical planning ecosystem. If surgeons adopt it, it could support steadier earnings from ecosystem use rather than one-off robot sales. Slow uptake or hospital budget limits would weaken that case. The consensus narrative projects revenue of $3.7 billion and earnings of $767.4 million by 2029, up from $535.4 million today. That requires 5.8% yearly revenue growth. The most bullish analysts model revenue of about $3.8 billion and earnings near $873.0 million.

Globus Medical to showcase SCRIPT(TM) patient-specific implants and new XLIF(TM) Prone Procedural Solution at NASS 2026.

Globus Medical to showcase SCRIPT(TM) patient-specific implants and new XLIF(TM) Prone Procedural Solution at NASS 2026. Thursday, October 15, 2026 Globus Medical, Inc., a leading musculoskeletal technology company, today announced it will highlight its latest spine innovations at the 41st Annual North American Spine Society (NASS) Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, from October 14-17. Globus Medical is continuing to expand its integrated spine ecosystem with technologies designed to connect patient-specific planning, implant solutions, and surgical execution across a range of spinal procedures. At NASS, the company will showcase SCRIPT(TM), its new patient-specific spinal implant platform, alongside the new XLIF(TM) Prone Procedural Solution featuring the XLIF(TM) Prone Patient Positioner and the MaXcess(TM) Air two-blade prone lateral retractor. "We believe innovation is most meaningful when it connects technologies across the surgical workflow to support patient-specific planning and coordinated execution. Our focus is on developing an integrated ecosystem that helps surgeons translate their surgical plan in the operating room while supporting the clinical needs of each individual patient," said Keith Pfeil, President and CEO. SCRIPT(TM) marks Globus Medical's expansion into patient-specific spine solutions. Within SCRIPT(TM) Studio, surgeons maintain control of preoperative planning and implant design, creating them while considering alignment, implant position, implant geometry, and fixation strategy. Plans generated from SCRIPT(TM) Studio can be imported into ExcelsiusGPS(TM) or ExcelsiusHub(TM) to integrate the preoperative plan with a navigated surgical workflow. SCRIPT(TM) will be featured in an exclusive preview at the Globus Medical technology suite, offering attendees an early look at this FDA-cleared technology as the company moves toward commercialization. Globus Medical will also introduce the XLIF(TM) Prone Patient Positioner and MaXcess(TM) Air two-blade retractor as part of its XLIF(TM) Prone Procedural Solution. Bringing together patient positioning, lateral access, and enabling technologies, the solution is designed to support a connected workflow for prone lateral procedures. These new solutions combine adaptable patient positioning with stable, controlled lateral access to establish a reproducible workflow for prone lateral procedures. The XLIF(TM) Prone Patient Positioner allows adjustments in both the sagittal and coronal planes, while the MaXcess(TM) Air retractor provides a lightweight, rigid platform designed to support soft tissue management and stable access to the disc space. Together, these technologies reflect Globus Medical's continued investment in an integrated spine technology portfolio, connecting solutions across preoperative planning, patient-specific implants, procedural positioning, access, and surgical execution.

Globus Medical unveils SCRIPT implant platform and XLIF Prone at NASS 2026; market value $10.2B

Globus Medical (NYSE:GMED) launched SCRIPT, a patient-specific spinal implant platform, at the NASS 2026 meeting after receiving US Food and Drug Administration clearance. The company also showed its XLIF Prone Procedural Solution for lateral spine surgery with patients lying face down. SCRIPT planning tools connect with Globus's existing robotic and navigation systems, including ExcelsiusGPS and ExcelsiusHub. The aim is to give surgeons more reasons to standardise on the company's hardware and software. Globus, a US medical equipment maker valued at about $10.2 billion, focuses on devices for musculoskeletal disorders. Analysts note that volatility in its Enabling Technologies and Nevro segments means better tools alone may not smooth out revenue swings.
