  • Registered Nurse status is required.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse licensure is required.
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of a physician, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant-Certified in an outpatient practice.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clinic patients.
  • Coordinate care for patients.
  • Assess patient-status data and interpret the information needed to identify each patient’s age-specific requirements.
  • Advocate for patient-centered care.
  • Provide care in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching.
  • Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the outpatient clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate the values contained in the Olympic Medical Center mission and philosophy statements.
  • Support and promote a positive image of professional nursing.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in an ambulatory medical clinic is preferred.
  • Experience working with patients specific to the clinic, such as oncology experience for an oncology clinic, urology experience for a urology clinic, or obstetrics and gynecology experience for a women’s clinic, is preferred.
