Requirements
- Registered Nurse status is required.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse licensure is required.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of a physician, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant-Certified in an outpatient practice.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for clinic patients.
- Coordinate care for patients.
- Assess patient-status data and interpret the information needed to identify each patient’s age-specific requirements.
- Advocate for patient-centered care.
- Provide care in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the outpatient clinical setting.
- Demonstrate the values contained in the Olympic Medical Center mission and philosophy statements.
- Support and promote a positive image of professional nursing.
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in an ambulatory medical clinic is preferred.
- Experience working with patients specific to the clinic, such as oncology experience for an oncology clinic, urology experience for a urology clinic, or obstetrics and gynecology experience for a women’s clinic, is preferred.
