About the company

OEC Group arranges international freight movements for businesses that import and export goods, with a focus on trade between Asia and North America. It coordinates ocean and air shipping alongside ground transport, storage, and distribution so customers move cargo from suppliers to its final destination. Customers buy transportation and logistics services, with options for full containers or space shared with other shippers. The group also handles customs clearance and cargo insurance, bringing shipment administration and physical transport into one service relationship. Founded in 1981, OEC Group is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, with a regional headquarters in New York.

What critics are saying

  • Santa Ana operations limits home working: Ocean Import Coordinators receive one work-from-home day weekly.

What makes OEC Group unique

  • Customs advice includes in-house research: OEC studies duties, legislation, and trade agreements to identify exclusions and reclassifications.
