Requirements
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper, administrative accountant, human resources professional, or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online software and Google Business Suite, including Gmail, Drive, and Docs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and allocating and posting transactions for current and long-term liabilities in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, unearned income, current assets, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends to support decision-making.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring budgets for academy programs and initiatives.
  • Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making.
  • Maintain employee data in the Paycor system for new and existing employees.
  • Assist with compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Respond to federal, state, and local government notices regarding employees.
  • Handle administrative duties, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Work closely with coaches, staff, and management to ensure efficient program operations.
  • Provide service to parents, athletes, and visitors who contact or visit the academy.
  • Perform other duties as needed to contribute to the academy's success.
  • Onboard part-time employees.
  • Administer human resources compliance processes.
