Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, marketing technology, customer data platforms, or integration engineering.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with one or more Adobe platforms, including Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, or Adobe Real-Time CDP.
  • Strong experience with data integration, extract-transform-load and extract-load-transform processes, application programming interface integrations, and enterprise data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with schema design, identity resolution, profile-enabled datasets, and customer data modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale customer and event datasets.
  • An understanding of batch, streaming, and event-driven data architectures.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, warehouses, or distributed data systems.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional agile delivery teams.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Adobe Real-Time CDP use cases such as audience creation, activation, and profile stitching.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer journey orchestration, event-based journeys, and triggered communications.
  • Experience with Customer Journey Analytics reporting models, connections, data views, and calculated metrics or derived fields.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Data Model and Adobe identity namespaces such as ECID, CRM ID, email, and loyalty ID.
  • Experience with Adobe Data Collection, Web SDK, Mobile SDK, and Datastream configurations.
  • Understanding of privacy, consent management, data retention, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, release management, and production support processes.
Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain solutions on Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Implement and support Real-Time Customer Data Platform capabilities, including profile enablement, identity stitching, schema design, and audience activation.
  • Build and optimize Adobe Journey Optimizer journeys, event triggers, decisioning inputs, and audience-based orchestration.
  • Support Customer Journey Analytics data views, connections, derived fields, and reporting structures.
  • Ensure platform configurations align with architectural standards, governance policies, and business requirements.
  • Design and build scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines for ingesting data into Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Develop and maintain XDM schema designs, dataset structures, identity strategies, namespace mapping, and profile-enabled datasets.
  • Perform data transformation, enrichment, validation, and standardization for customer and event data.
  • Enable ingestion of customer, behavioral, and transactional data from multiple enterprise systems into Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Troubleshoot data ingestion, schema validation, identity resolution, and profile fragmentation issues.
  • Integrate Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics with CRM systems, data warehouses, data lakes, web and mobile SDKs, marketing automation and messaging platforms, cloud storage, and API-based systems.
  • Build and support API-based, file-based, streaming, and ETL/ELT integrations across Adobe and enterprise platforms.
  • Define ingestion patterns, mapping logic, data contracts, and reconciliation processes with source system teams.
  • Support event collection and forwarding through Adobe Data Collection, Tags, Web SDK, Mobile SDK, and Datastreams.
  • Enable outbound integrations for audience activation, journey execution, and analytics consumption.
  • Monitor platform health, ingestion jobs, profile processing, audience evaluation, and journey execution.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents involving data quality, pipeline failures, integration issues, and activation delays.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, access control, privacy, consent, and security.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, support procedures, data flow diagrams, and technical design documents.
  • Partner with architecture and governance teams to ensure compliant use of customer data and platform features.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, solution design sessions, testing, release deployment, and post-production support.
  • Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, design trade-offs, and implementation best practices.
  • Support user acceptance testing, production validation, and knowledge transfer to support teams.
