About the job
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
- Hold a state working-with-children check.
- Have Australian working rights.
- Complete National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding via Gecko.
- Hold a completed relevant ACECQA-recognised qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in Western Australia.
- Be willing to work split shifts when needed, including morning, afternoon, and school holiday program hours.
- Travel between services across the region.
- Provide hands-on leadership and support across services in the region, stepping into different teams where additional coverage is needed.
- Lead Educators and help deliver before- and after-school programs for children aged 5–12 years.
- Support teams to deliver child-centred activities including STEM, sports, cooking, arts, and crafts, while creating a safe and welcoming environment for every child.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, support rostering and administration, and ensure services meet compliance requirements and deliver a consistent, high-quality program.
- Collaborate with regional managers, the office team, and Mobile Coordinators from other regions to support consistent service delivery and share ideas.
- A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
